  • Recycled Shipping Materials: Whenever possible, we recycle and reuse shipping boxes and packaging materials. This means you might receive your item in a box or package that was previously used and the packaging materials (biodegradable foam “peanuts”, paper, bubble wrap, etc.) might be previously used. Be assured that all recycled materials we use are clean and intact. Let’s save trees and use less fossil fuels!!

  • Deposit: A deposit is required to secure the order. This deposit is typically a percentage of the total cost.

  • Contract: A contract outlining the terms and conditions, including payment schedule, delivery timeline, and policies for cancellations or changes, will be prepared.

  • Material Sourcing: We will source the necessary materials and gemstones as per the agreed design.

  • Crafting: Our skilled artisans will begin the crafting process, ensuring attention to detail and quality.

  • Progress Updates: Regular updates will be provided, including photos or videos of the progress.

     Quality Check:

  • Inspection: A thorough quality check will be conducted to ensure the piece meets all specifications and standards.

  • Finishing Touches: Any finishing touches, such as polishing, engraving, or setting stones, will be applied.

      Delivery:

  • Final Payment: Upon completion and approval of the piece, the final payment will be requested.

  • Packaging: The custom piece will be carefully packaged to reflect our brand’s quality and care.

  • Shipping or Collection: Arrangements will be made for shipping or collection, depending on your preference. Tracking information will be provided if applicable.

     After-Sales Service:

  • Maintenance and Care: Guidance on how to care for and maintain the jewelry will be provided. Future maintenance or resizing services are available if needed. If we were provided with inaccurate sizing information, there will be a fee for resizing services.

     Design Rights:

  • Ownership of Designs: All custom designs created by Soul Song Originals - Handcrafted Jewelry & Art remain the intellectual property of our business. We retain all rights to the designs, including but not limited to the rights to reproduce, modify, and distribute the designs.

  • Customer Use: Customers are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use and display the custom-designed jewelry. Reproduction of the designs for commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.

  • Design Replication: We reserve the right to use and replicate custom designs for other customers or collections, while ensuring that each custom piece remains unique in some aspect to honor the original commission.

15. Limited Liability for Product Availability -

  • Stock Levels: Product availability is subject to change and may be limited.

  • Substitution Policy: We strive to provide our customers with unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Due to the exclusive nature of our products, we may often face situations where an item  is out of stock. In such cases, we offer a thoughtful substitution policy to ensure your satisfaction.

  • Notification of Unavailability: If an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you  within 2 business days of your purchase. You will be informed via email or phone about the unavailability of the product.

  • Substitution Options: In the event that an item is unavailable, you have the following options:
        1. Choose an Alternative: We will provide you with a list of similar, available items to      choose from.
        2. Custom Order: If possible, we can create a custom piece based on your  preferences. Please note that additional charges and extended delivery times may apply. (See #14 - Custom Orders - For more detailed information.)
        3. Refund: You may opt for a full refund of your purchase. (See #9 - Returns and Refunds - For more detailed information.)

Process for Substitution: To select a substitution, please follow these steps:

  1. Review the list of alternative items provided in our email.

  2. Select your preferred alternative and respond to the email with your choice.

  3. If opting for a custom order, please contact us to discuss your preferences and obtain a quote. (See #14 - Custom Orders - For more detailed information.)

  4. If you prefer a refund, please reply to the email requesting a refund. (See #9 - Returns and Refunds - For more detailed information.)

Time Frame: Please respond to our notification within 5 business days to choose an alternative, request a custom order, or ask for a refund. If we do not hear from you within this period, we will proceed with issuing a refund.

Custom Order Conditions: Custom orders are subject to additional charges based on the complexity and materials required. Estimated delivery times will be communicated during the custom order consultation. All custom orders are final and non-refundable. (See #14 - Custom Orders - For more detailed information.)

16. Gift Wrapping and Note Cards -

  • Options: Gift-wrapping is available for an additional $5 charge. Note cards with a personalized hand-written message are free of charge. You must indicate what message you want written to your gift recipient.

17. Gift Cards -

  • Purchase: Gift cards can be purchased in various denominations on this website.

  • Redemption: Gift cards can be redeemed online only and are non-transferable.

  • Expiration: Gift cards do not expire and have no service fees. Gift cards will only expire if Soul Song Originals - Handcrafted Jewelry & Art ceases to do business. Advance notification of Soul Song Originals - Handcrafted Jewelry & Art ceasing to do business is not required.
